The Banner Padel Box League starts Monday, 9 November. Teams are placed into boxes of five by their combined Playtomic ratings, so every match is against a similar standard. Play the other four teams in your box — four games over four weeks, arranged directly with your opponents. Then the top two go up a box and the bottom two go down. Build your Playtomic rating over the next 6 months.

Your box

Five teams of a similar standard, cut by combined Playtomic rating. Boxes are redrawn every cycle, so you keep meeting new opponents at your level.

Four games in four weeks

You play each of the other four teams once per cycle. Unplayed at the deadline = void and −1 point to both teams, so arrange all four as soon as the cycle opens. A box of four plays three and takes a bye.

You pick the time

There are no fixed fixture slots. Arrange each match directly with your opponents and book a court on Playtomic whenever suits you both. A sub is fine if their rating is within 0.75 of the player they replace.

Log the result

Two sets, then a championship tiebreak if it's one apiece. Enter the score on this page with the email you registered with; it counts once your opponents confirm it.

Points

4 points for a 2–0 win, 3 for a win in the tiebreak, 1 to the losers if they took a set. Top of the box at the end of a cycle wins €20 Playtomic credit per player. Level on points? Head-to-head decides, then set difference, then game difference.

Up or down

Top two teams move up a box, bottom two move down, and the next cycle starts. Only the middle team holds its place, so the ladder moves quickly.
